Our project is dedicated to building life-size portraiture memorial bust statues for the families of the brave servicemen and servicewomen of the United States Armed Services who have cut their lives short defending freedom in Afghanistan and Iraq fighting the war on terror.
This national project was started in 2006 by the families of those lost in the war on terror, their friends, fellow service members, veterans, and by those interested in memorializing these brave men and women who answered their country's call, fought the good fight, and made the ultimate sacrifice.
Twelve bronze bust's have been completed to date through the hard work and dedication of these caring individuals. Operation Never Forget believes that their sacrifices should NEVER be forgotten, but memorialized right in the communities where they lived, loved, grew up, and are buried today.
Over 4310 more statues are planned to be constructed as funds become available. With this in mind you must know that to date this project is over a 30 million dollar project from start to finish and will take years to complete.
