Welcome Family, Friends, and Comrades of fallen Heroes in the war on terror,

My name is Alan Howard, and I am the Program Manager for Operation Never Forget.

Our site is dedicated to you, and the some 4310  Servicemen and Servicewomen who have answered their country's call, fought a good fight, and have cut their lives short defending freedom in Afghanistan and Iraq.  

As you will see, Operation Never Forget has a plan to memorialize each and everyone of our fallen heroes by providing to their families a "life like","life size", bronze bust statue of their hero to be unveiled in their community, and placed in the final resting place of the family's choice. With your help, Operation Never Forget will be able to give back to the family, and the community of the fallen service member a small piece of what they've lost. This memorial will also serve as a reminder that freedom isn't free, and will allow all who see it to get to know the hero, and know what he or she stood for and died for. 

As you tour our site, meet our Advisory Board, know our mission, and learn more about the project. Looking for information on the casualties from Afghanistan and Iraq? Thanks to the Iraq Page, and the Afghanistan Page you'll be able to read about the Hero's, see their pictures and get to know their families. You can even sort the pages by date of death, state, branch, or by age. Print articles, leave personal messages, and copy and paste pictures. You'll also be able to see the memorials of Hero's under construction, and those memorials of Hero's who have already been memorialized on our site. You can even join our forum. Post your thoughts, or ideas. Tell us what you think about the project. 

You may be a family member of a Hero, and would like to apply for a memorial. Or maybe you'd like to get involved as a volunteer in your state with the project, you can also do that here too. Pictures of the latest memorials will be posted often, so book mark the site for easy viewing. 

So you know, I became involved with Operation Never Forget after the tragic death of my youngest brother, USMC Staff Sergeant John "Ryan" Howard in 2004. Ryan was killed in action as the result of a helicopter crash on the night of August 11, 2004 in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq. Losing my baby brother has been one of the hardest things that I have ever had to deal with in all of my 37 years here on this earth. It has taken me three long years to overcome losing Ryan. Through this project, and with the help of family, friends, my brother's comrades, our community, and those who care from all over the country we have begun to heal from our loss. 

Operation Never Forget, and the memorial statue project has helped my family and I to heal, and to share our loss with so many people. I have met so many other families of service member's who have been lost just like Ryan with far worse stories than ours. I firmly believes that we should NEVER FORGET all of our fallen hero's in the war on terror like Ryan, or their families for their sacrifices.  

Operation Never Forget is a project of Congressional District Programs, Inc - A registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity. Our project of memorializing the fallen servicemen and servicewomen of the United States Armed Services was started by the families of the fallen, friends, comrades, and those with a passion to memorialize each and everyone of our fallen Hero's in the war on terror. Our foundation Advisory Board is involved solely for the purpose of helping the families of the fallen overcome their loss, not to profit from, or become rich from others misfortune, and loss. The feelings of the family will always come first, as they are who we serve. Please help us share this healing with these families. You can help by donating to our organization, and by telling your friends and family about our foundation.
